Game ideas to do with the parachute

The cat and the Mouse

Choose a child to be the mouse. The latter will be placed in the center and under the parachute. Another child will be designated to be the cat and will place himself, above the parachute, getting on all fours. Remember to take off the shoes. All the other children are placed around the parachute and hold it through the handles. They must by their movements allow the mouse to escape.

Games of figures and choreographies with the parachute 

• The sea: children must swing the parachute from bottom to top
• The wheel: children must walk holding the parachute up to size, profile and hand. They must run the parachute, leaving it horizontal.
• The plate: you have to hold the parachute by the handles and children must lean as much as possible without falling so as to reach out the parachute as much as possible.
• The fungus: the children will lift the canvas in the air and then go down it by placing themselves under the parachute and sit on the edge. This will form a large fungus.

Face to face

Form 2 homogeneous teams. Each team will take place on each side of the parachute, holding the handles. Each team thus takes the place of a semicircle.
Put a ball in the center of the parachute. With movements, children will have to score 1 point in the opposing camp. To do this, it is simply enough that the ball comes out of the canvas to score a goal. 

The rounds: musical games with the parachute

Make a choreography (for example turning the parachute) on the rhythm of music. You have to stop when the music stops and leave when it resumes.

The net

4 children are designated to be fish. The other children hold the parachute. The fish must pass under the parachute. Meanwhile, the other children are suitable for a signal ... when the signal is given (children must locate it) then they suddenly lower the parachute and must imprison the fish.

Kim's game

Place objects under the canvas. Children can touch one through the canvas and guess what it is. You can also place instruments under the canvas. A child, in turn, goes under the canvas, chooses an instrument and makes a sound with it. The other children should guess which instrument it is.

Twist 

You know the famous Twister game. You can use this canvas to reproduce the game by asking children to place a foot on red, a hand on blue and so on.

The promenade: skill games and cooperatives with the parachute

Children have to make ball circles by adjusting their gestures after the other. The ball should not come out of the canvas neither from the outside nor through the central hole.

The jump 

The goal here is to take a ball to blow it up in the air and then recover it in the canvas without getting it out. Chain the maximum of throws possible.

POP CORN 

Make small waves and place tennis balls on the parachute.

The crepe 

The goal of the game is to turn the parachute back. To do this, the children hold the parachute on the ground. When the signal is given, they raise the parachute above their head and on the second signal they chain by launching the parachute in the air. The goal is that the parachute landed on the ground on the other side.
